Yusra Gomaa represents employees in breach of contract and unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims,
and advises small and medium-sized businesses on employment compliance issues.
Ms. Gomaa also specializes in physician contracts, frequently drafting and negotiating employment contracts
and independent contractor agreements on behalf of physicians and physician groups.
Ms. Gomaa prefers amicable resolution when possible, routinely negotiating severance agreements and settlements on behalf of her clients. In addition to her employment law work, Ms. Gomaa has a special interest in child advocacy, having previously served as President of the Board of Directors of a New York based adoption agency and a volunteer Guardian ad Litem children who were in the custody of the state. In 2007, Ms. Gomaa was a recipient of an Equal Justice America Fellowship. Ms. Gomaa received her law degree from the University of Illinois, cum laude, and a bachelor of arts in History from the University of Chicago, with honors.
Ms. Gomaa admitted to practice by the State of Illinois Supreme Court in 2009.
and is a member of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Northern Illinois.
